This small armchair was inspired by one in the original upholstered lounge series "Victoria and Albert", named in homage to the London museum where an important anthology of Ron Arad's works was exhibited. The great success with the Victoria and Albert upholstered armchair prompted the designer to explore the use of a non-traditional material- polyethylene - while maintaining the chair's original soft-sculpture shape.
