The steel construction provides a solid backbone capable of supporting dense equipment stacks while resisting the daily wear of installation, maintenance, and reconfigurations. The cabinet’s generous 25U height makes it easy to consolidate multiple servers, storage enclosures, and switching gear into a single, manageable unit. This consolidation reduces clutter, simplifies cable management, and improves airflow, which can help maintain optimal operating temperatures for critical hardware. Designed to integrate seamlessly with standard data center practices, the NetBAY S2 Standard Rack supports common 19" rack-mount equipment and accessories, enabling straightforward upgrades as your infrastructure grows. The durable steel body, paired with thoughtfully placed access panels and vented surfaces, encourages good airflow while protecting equipment from accidental impacts and unauthorized access. In short, this cabinet is built to keep equipment secure, accessible for maintenance, and organized for efficient management—whether you’re deploying a new server cluster, expanding a virtualization host, or tidying up a dense network rack. Lenovo’s attention to detail in the NetBAY S2 translates into easier asset management, faster deployment, and safer, cleaner IT spaces.

How to install Lenovo NetBAY S2 Standard Rack

To install the Lenovo NetBAY S2 Standard Rack, begin by selecting a suitable location with adequate space for maintenance, cable routing, and proper airflow. Confirm that the floor can support the rack’s weight and that there is clearance for doors, panels, and cable management behind and around the cabinet. Gather compatible mounting rails and hardware that fit the NetBAY S2 frame and the devices you plan to install. As you prepare, ensure that you have tools and safety equipment appropriate for mounting heavy equipment in a rack enclosure.

Position the rack in place and, if required by your facility, anchor it to the floor or ceiling to meet local code or data center standards. With the cabinet secured, install the mounting rails according to the manufacturer’s guidelines, ensuring they are level and properly anchored. Rails should be configured to accommodate your devices’ depth and weight distribution, with heavy gear placed toward the bottom to maintain stability and balance. Take care to align mounting holes with your devices’ chassis and avoid over-tightening screws, which can damage rails or components.

Once the rails are installed, begin mounting equipment from the bottom up. Heavier servers and power distribution units belong near the base to lower the cabinet’s center of gravity, while lighter devices such as switches and patch panels can occupy higher positions. As you add gear, plan for cable management by leaving ample space behind devices, using any built-in cable channels, and utilizing cable ties or Velcro straps to keep bundles neat. Maintain clear airflow paths by avoiding cable congestion in front of vented panels or fans, which helps sustain reliable cooling performance and reduces hotspots within the rack.

After all equipment is mounted, connect power and data cables, label each cable for easy identification, and route them through appropriate channels or management arms. Close and secure the rack doors to protect devices, minimize tampering, and preserve an organized appearance. Finally, perform a basic inspection to verify that devices sit securely in their rails, cables are not under tension, and airflow is unimpeded. Regular maintenance checks—such as inspecting rails, doors, and cable management—will help you preserve reliability and extend the life of your Lenovo NetBAY S2 Standard Rack.

Great ball for limited entertainment. Replaceable outer shell is an amazing option!
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
Bought this for our 45lb, ball-obsessed Dutch shepherd/pit bull dog mix. I had one of these years ago with the hard shell and couldn’t be happier with the new foam shell. The new foam shell is much quieter and while our dog might put holes in it with his teeth, he doesn’t seem to ever pull pieces off. For engagement level, he found it VERY interesting at first and was scared to grab it, but once he got over that he started holding it in his mouth even when it shakes and just tries to keep it. Isn’t the best for fetch or anything as he has trouble letting it go when it is actively moving, but it makes him happy while he has it. We just make sure to monitor him while it is out. The ability to change the outer shell and just buy a replacement for the shell instead of a whole new toy is a lovely feature that makes me very happy to continue buying from this company.

Great Interactive Option
Color: Blue
To start, I have been very happy with this purchase. A couple of key points for me are durability and being able to keep my dog's attention. I have had it for almost a year, just a month shy, and she hasn't managed to get through the foam outer shell even though she tries real hard to do so. Let's just say, she's hard to find toys for because of her habit of finding the point of failure where she can pick and gnaw at until the toy is no longer safe for her to have. With this toy, she not only found her match, but it also has her watching, waiting, and even stalking. Only one small issue has recently occurred: the motor has started having an issue where the charge doesn't hold, and it doesn't remain on afterwards. I have reached out to Cheerble directly to see about replacing it since I am still within their 12-month timeframe, and they responded right away.

Quality product for the right dog...
Color: Orange
Honestly it's a really cool product well constructed and moves around on its own with several different modes. The design id brilliant with a tough rubber ball that unscrew to expose the element that makes it move in the middle. The dog won't be able to unscrew it but you can if you ever need to replace the ball for any reason but it would take some work for a dog to destroy the outer ball. Almost like "Kong" type material. The ball is about the size of a softball and the element inside is about the size of a golf ball. I thought my dog would love this but she was afraid of it, which is strange because she's afraid of nothing. Anyways I gave it to my neighbor upstairs and she has a yorkshire terrier who plays with it all the time so it all worked out great. Quality product . Good job!

Thought it was a good idea but not for my dog
Color: Blue
Seemed great but my dog continued to bark at it. Finally she hid it and I haven’t looked for it.

Durability
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
won’t give this product 1 star because my dog still had a good time with it for a few hours. After opening and preparing it, I gave it to my dog and it definitely caught his interest. However, when he chewed on it, plastic pieces started breaking off and he began swallowing them. This product is definitely not suitable for aggressive chewers.
