The RIGID Adapt XE has a signature look that is unlike any other off-road motorcycle LED light on the market. This dirt bike light features a high-strength aluminum heat sink and an impact resistant polycarbonate lens. On the inside it contains cutting-edge technology. The Adapt XE utilizes two layers of adaptive response. The first layer is RIGID's Active Power Management (APM) system which monitors input voltage to determine the status of the vehicles electrical system. If the voltage is stable, it will continue to utilize all available power to give you the most output possible. If the available voltage begins to drop due to insufficient power, the APM system will gradually reduce the power consumption until the voltage stabilizes. The second layer, the Active View Technology, uses an internal GPS module to determine the bikes speed, allowing the Adapt to properly distribute all available power among three optic zones. Utilizing the three optic zones allows the Active View Technology to create the ideal beam pattern to suit the riders needs. As the vehicles speed changes, power is routed through various optic zones utilizing scene optics for low speed, driving optics for moderate speed and spot optics for high-speed driving. Power is transferred between optic zones allowing for a transition between beam patterns and providing much brighter and more natural looking light and reducing eye fatigue. The Adapt XE features a Magnetic Reed power clip for additional customization. Leaving the switch in place limits the light to consuming a maximum of 2.7 amps. When the switch is moved the light will consume up to 5.6 amps when all zones are activated. The Adapt XE fits most bikes and the wiring harness and custom handlebar switch is included. Whether running a factory stator with voltage regulator or have additional power available, the Adapt XE will give you the light you need, when you need it, where you need it. Own The Night with RIGIDs Adapt XE motorcycle light.

This book really helps organize a process that is inherently chaotic
Format: Kindle
I'm working on a series of novels about a world of talking animals that grows up after humans die out from complications of climate change. Every species has its own culture. I got through the first book and well into the second before I realized that I needed some way to codify all the cultural details. I had lots of ideas, but no way to organize them, and as I moved towards the third book of the series, which would require creating seven or eight whole cultures, I was feeling overwhelmed. Creating Life and the free templates the author provides as a download are proving to be very useful tool. I look forward to reading the other two books in this series, too.

An excellent book
Format: Kindle
I am a new fantasy fiction writer, and the detail of this book really helped me out very much. As I was searching Amazon for a book on this topic, this was one of the few that stood out. The author also offers continuous lessons on world building through his free newsletter, which I also find helpful. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Randy. L.M. Montes

Both books in this series are worthwhile reference sources
Format: Kindle
Great books--I got both this one and Creating Places. I simply stumbled upon both books online when looking for something about plotting, and I bought them both, and am glad I did. I'm a fairly experienced writer in literary genres, but fantasy/sci-fi are different. The first book I got, Creating Places, was immediately useful as I was creating a land ringed with tall mountains, and I wondered about rainfall--this book answered my question about how mountains effect rainfall! It's not like you couldn't look some of this stuff up in other ways, but having it all in one place was very useful to me. This one still had tips I was interested in, but I agree with the reviewer who noted it did feel like it was more about world building for world building's sake (at least in this book). Plenty of things didn't apply to what I'm writing, but if you use these as a handy reference--rather than a "how to" book, I still think there is a lot of use here. (Plus, when I bought it, the book was under $3, so I figured why not?)

A lot to think on!
Format: Kindle
I've been world building for several years now and thought I'd pick up this book just to see someone else's thoughts. This book really brought up some fun points I've skipped and gave me a lot of tools, can't wait to read the next one!

Very useful resource
Format: Paperback
I reference this book often when creating new characters, monsters and even animals and plants. The book has lots of interesting and useful tips and insights that I've found very useful. Its also organized in a manner that is easy to just go to the sections you need.
