This JH spec series has a few upgrades to it which include a reinforced single T, added DCT foam at the palm base plus the new 90 degree break angle that was just available for Pro's but now it's here at retail.

CATCHER

EXTERNAL MATERIAL & PADDING

Externally the glove has the Catchlite palm stock for great protection and comfort, this helps absorb the shot in the glove allowing the material to keep it in place so you can feel confident with your saves we just added the additional DCT to the palm base for those times where just a bit extra padding is needed.

BREAK ANGLE

This glove has a 90 degree break angle that is designed for a full overlap closure catching style and feels very similar to another yet again popular glove. We have a Single reinforced T to keep the shape of the T more open and reduce any pucks from skipping over.

STRAPPING & CUFF DESIGN

Keeping you connected to the glove is a fully adjustbale strapping system inside with an improved wrist strap for a more comfortable fit. We still have the full one piece cuff design with added CURV composite for reinforcement.

BLOCKER

EXTERNAL MATERIAL

New for Hyperlite 2 and brought over from the MACH is the SL1D3R external material that is a more durable material to make sure it holds up throughout the season and well in to the playoffs. This material is made from a combination of HDPE that is a type of plastic that's known for how resistant it is to wear and the coating enhances the effect of the HDPE sheet.

INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION

Now for those massive rebounds off the blocker we have the Rebound Boost Core that is a special foam designed to allow for better control with your rebounds and where they go, this way you not only get a massive rebound but a more controllable one too and with the addition of CURV to key areas such as the thumb, & fingers this also provides additional protection. 

PALM & SIDE PROTECTION

Giving you a good connection to your stick for control we have the Connekt+ palm that shapes to your hand and better connect you to the stick. This palm is brought over from the player side and was introduced on the MACH blocker, this material is designed to hold up through rigorous use giving you a lasting performance & protection. Going along to the sidewall Bauer has added the F1 CURV composite construction that is both lightweight & durable that also provides superb impact protection.
