Parents who have no science background at all find that this course makes easy the task of helping their children learn chemistry. The experiments all use household chemicals and you can do most of the experiments with household utensils. Nevertheless, some of the more difficult experiments do require specialized equipment and some students prefer working with "real" laboratory supplies.
