Fitting notes

Lift the boat with one hand to check for the balance point of your boat. Make sure it has all the kit in it as you intend to use it - remember pumps filled with water and DW essentials as may impact this balance point. If you are using a K2, then the experiment with the grip position with your partner. Often a grip will be useful in the bow but grab handles on the stern deck may be a better solution for the back paddler.

Mark this position and adjust the height of the grip for comfort. Check clearance at your hips and waist as there may not be enough room in particularly narrow boat. Abrade with sand paper and mask all surfaces before application of adhesive. Many strong and thick adhesive will work but we recommend a 5-minute epoxy or West System G-Flex 655 Epoxy Adhesive.
