The watch
Popular with collectors, this Seiko AGS nicknamed ‘Grey Ghost’ from 1996. With interesting grey stardust dial and rotating bezel. Very light on the wrist, since it’s made of Titanium. The day can be displayed in Japanese Kanji or English. A clasp extender has been added to add some length to the bracelet.
In very good unpolished condition. The bezel shows some wear, and the crystal has a few minor scratches.
Details
Kinetic watches are a bit different from quartz or automatic watches. They have a capacitor, which means it has a battery that is powered by movement of the wrist. If it’s worn for a few days it will stay running for quite a while, but it may stop eventually when it doesn’t get enough wear. Wearing it will simply power up the battery again. If you press the button on the side, the second hand will show how much power it has left by going to a certain position.
