The low tension weave gives the denim a soft hand with an irregular and slubby texture. There are many other special techniques involved with creating the unique look, texture and feel of this denim all of which are held secret, hence the name “Secret Denim”.
ONI's specially developed Secret Denim features warp yarns that are rope dyed leaving the cores undyed to give way to contrast fading, and weft yarns that are dyed Beige for a color reminiscent of cotton found growing in the wild. This gives the denim a rustic dark color while still maintaining a vibrant indigo blue. The low tension weave gives this heavy denim a soft hand with an irregular and slubby texture. There are many other intricacies to this denim that need to be seen and felt in person to fully appreciate and most of the special techniques involved with creating it's unique look, texture and feel are held secret, hence the name “Secret Denim”.
