Vinilisssimo present a reissue of Philwit & Pegasus's self-titled album, originally released in 1970. It may look kind of weird but the one person's name that has to be brought up here, neither played nor sung on this album. Mark Wirtz is the mastermind behind this long-forgotten concept LP released in 1970 by Chapter One Records, a one-off studio project he put together with his girlfriend at the time, Maria Feltham, who wrote most of the songs. Although the album is supposed to be driven by a common concept, it's sound gravitates towards broad influences: there are fierce guitars and also soft psych passages, it gets as close to easy listening as to rock. During the '60s, Mark Wirtz was an in-house producer for EMI, working on the Studio 2 series. The next milestones in his career were "A Teenage Opera", a musical project that was never released as an entire work, and producing Tomorrow's self-titled debut LP, a psychedelic masterpiece. In 1969, Mark resigned from his post at EMI Records to return to independent production and approached Les Reed's Chapter One label for the release of his new Philwit & Pegasus project, recorded by a group of musicians that includes John Carter (The Flower Pot Men), Roger Greenaway, or Peter Lee Stirling on vocals, and Chris Spedding on guitar, among other talented artists. The album starts with "Happiness", featuring incredible vocal harmonies, followed by the outstanding "Yoyo Thoughts", a folk-pop delight, but half way through it we reach some of the strongest songs on the LP: the energetic "My What a Lovely Day It's Been", "Lonely Flower", and "Spinning Carousel", which echo The Beach Boys and Love and create an intimate yet vaporous vibe. Fans of sunshine and chamber pop coupled with memorable songwriting will be enthralled by this album. Presented in facsimile artwork and pressed on 180 gram vinyl.

Best place for head

Do you love not getting sleep and sweating all over your pillow at night when you are asleep? If so then don't buy this pillow! If you want a good nights sleep and cool pillow like me this is the one. Ive always been ehh towards spending so much on a pillow but its 100% worth it, I sleep so much better and it forms to my head and keeps me cool at night. Great support even for my big head and comes with a bag of extra stuffing if you want to have a little more firmer pillow. Highly recommend

Oversized

I have chronic neck pain. I am forever buying new pillows. Sometimes I think I found the perfect pillow but then three months later they’re losing their loft. I thought I would give these pillows to try since the stuffing is removable. Now these pillows are really oversized. To the point where I thought that they had sent me king-size pillows but I double checked the packaging and they were Queen. I ended up having to buy king-size pillowcases for them because they just barely fit in the queen size and the pillowcases would always end up pulling back from the edge. So that’s a negative one star there. Now I’ve been sleeping on these pillows for a while and they have held up well. I did end up removing some of the stuffing because it was just too much. I’m a side sleeper and when I use this pillow, it does a good job of keeping my neck in alignment. However, the pillow tends to migrate up as I sleep. Or I tend to slip down off the pillow, either or. So that’s why I’ve removed a second star. Maybe if I removed more stuffing that wouldn’t happen, but then I feel like the loft would be too little. I will say that these provide great support when sitting up in bed reading or watching TV. So would I buy them again? Probably not. Am I going to keep using them? Yes

Soft and smooth cover

This is a nice pillow cover overall. The fabric feels good and it's comfortable to sleep on, especially compared to a more basic cotton cover. It is maybe a little thinner than I expected, so if you want something thick and heavy this probably isn't that. But for a soft smooth cover that fits and feels decent, I think it's worth it. No major complaints from me after using it.

Very nice pillowcases

Very pretty pillowcases. I washed them in cold water and dried them on low before using. They came out a little wrinkly but smoothed out on the pillow. The fabric is shiny and rich looking. It's not hot yet, here in Texas, but I am anticipating the coolness of these pillowcases to feel very nice. I appreciate the envelope closure. It gives it a finished look. There was no odd odor. They feel good like they'll last for a long time. I am a satisfied customer.
