The Bollé Keystone MIPS ski helmet is designed for the high-performance demands of freeride skiers and snowboarders. This model features a minimalist design with an integrated brim and a goggle retainer, ensuring a snug fit. As part of Bollé's "React for Good" initiative, it's their first hardshell helmet constructed from recycled materials, offering both durability and comfort. The helmet is also equipped with the Mips® multi-directional impact protection system and AViD Progressive EPS for enhanced safety.
A key feature of the helmet is the Mips® safety system. This technology involves a low-friction layer positioned between the helmet's padding and the protective EPS foam. In the event of an angled impact, this layer allows for a controlled movement of 10-15mm, which is designed to reduce rotational forces on the head and provide extra brain protection. This added safety measure does not compromise the helmet's comfort, ventilation, or fit. The helmet's construction includes an inner shell made from polystyrene and an outer shell of polycarbonate.
