The work brings to mind visions of the largest of its species ever seen by a human. For those who have never heard, the Steelhead is the most exciting game fish anyone could ever have on the end of their fishing line. Steelheading is often pursued in some of the colder months on the West Coast.
Some of my fishing partners strongly suggested this particular creation, with whom I have spent many happy hours seeking that elusive king of sportfish. STEELHEAD is then dedicated to those I have fished with and to all those who sneak through the woods, trip over logs and windfalls, slide down riverbanks, and fall into the icy waters of a mountain stream or river in a desperate search for this magnificent rival.
