The intake has been cleaned up and the baffle was removed, cleaned, and correctly re attached. The threads have all been chased revealing that one of them is a little loose but still holds. The previous owner did not use the washers when tightening it to the block so a few of them are indented (see photo). One of the holes looks like someone cut into it and

HONEST REVIEW: Dont waste your money: 2001 330Ci (pre-LCI)

I tried these because the reviewer's pictures look like these would work. I will assume the integrity of the reviewer and their word that the grills in the pictures are legitimately this brand grills. Which means something terrible happened to the manufactures molds from the time the reviewer got theirs to the time I received mine. I ordered the correct ones for my pre-facelift model and the quality looked promising however the top edge was inset about a 1/4 inch from the OEM one and they wiggled around to the point that there was NO CHANCE of them staying in on the way out of my garage. Don't waste your time and money. Just spend the extra $50 to get the ones from bimmerworld.
