High Velocity 14 AMP Extraction Powertrain and Lightweight Aluminum Shoe Plate for Clean Production Carpentry

The Makita HS7610 7-1/4-Inch Corded Circular Saw is an electric handheld woodworking tool engineered to execute high-speed crosscuts and rip cuts in dimensional structural lumber. Driven by a 14.0 AMP motor delivering a no-load speed of 5,500 RPM and 1,600 watts of output power, this lightweight 8.7-pound saw cleanly processes dense plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), and laminated veneer lumber (LVL). The mechanical system incorporates a heavy-gauge aluminum wraparound shoe plate for straight tracking, a 45-degree bevel adjustment mechanism, an optimized lower guard profile, and a detachable vacuum-compatible dust extraction nozzle to maintain a clean workspace on professional construction sites.

Best Used For:

  • Structural Timber Framing: Slicing dimensional 2x4 and 2x6 framing lumber, wall studs, and joists rapidly to exact layout dimensions.
  • Clean Shop Sheet Ripping: Sizing thick plywood sheets and oriented strand board (OSB) panels while connected to a vacuum system to capture airborne dust.
  • Angle Bevel Slicing: Performing accurate angular cuts up to 45 degrees for compound rafters, jack rafters, and structural roof decking assemblies.

Key Performance & Safety Features

  • Lightweight Power-to-Weight Ratio: Ergonomic structural chassis minimizes net weight to just 8.7 pounds, mitigating shoulder and arm fatigue during prolonged overhead wood cutting.
  • Aluminum Wraparound Base: Heavy-gauge precision-ground aluminum shoe plate maintains structural stiffness against drop damage to ensure straight cutting tracks.
  • Vacuum Integrated Dust Port: Detachable suction nozzle channels waste stream away from layout lines and links directly to standard shop extraction vacuums.
  • Flat Motor Casing Back: Level motor exterior profile stabilizes the saw when turned upside down to provide a secure base during blade wrench operations.
  • Optimized Lower Guard Layout: Redesigned spring-loaded shield clears material edges fluidly during narrow rip lines and complex bevel introductions.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
