A single red sentinel against a field of quiet parchment. The Argentinian Red Ladybug rests at center—small, deliberate, impossibly vivid—like a dot of sealing wax on a handwritten letter. Its lacquered wings and inky spots feel both scientific and romantic, as though lifted from a 19th-century naturalist’s notebook discovered in a sun-warmed study in Buenos Aires.

There is something deeply reassuring about a ladybug. In gardens across continents, it is considered a sign of protection and prosperity. Here, preserved beneath glass, it becomes a modern talisman—minimal, graphic, and quietly joyful. A study in restraint. A whisper of luck.

Handcrafted in our New York City studio using the traditional French art of decoupage, each bent-glass tray is created one at a time. The artwork is laid in reverse beneath glass and fired into permanence, resulting in a luminous surface with subtle variations that make every piece uniquely personal. Each tray is individually signed by Ben, a quiet signature of craftsmanship and care.

Food safe and wipe clean with a felted back, it is as practical as it is poetic—ready to hold rings on a bedside table, citrus at cocktail hour, or to stand upright on a gallery easel as a small work of art. Every tray arrives with a folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process.

A little luck from the Southern Hemisphere. Captured. Kept. Cherished.

Educational & Interesting Bathroom Reader
Format: Paperback
I bought this for my husband for Christmas given that he loves history. I figured it’d be a hit as a bathroom reader… I was right and it’s become a fixture right next to the toilet paper! He likes that it challenges him to think. Now there’s no need to take his phone into the bathroom!

BCE? No, it is BC!
Format: Paperback
I love history; there is a lot in this book I did not know. It is definitely a challenge and a great way to learn. I took off one star (considered taking off two) because the author uses the non-Christian term of BCE. I HATE seeing that instead of what it really is BC - before Christ! I wonder if he is an atheist.

Bought this for my son, and he really loves this book. He reads it over frequently. I recommend it if you have a reader that also wants to learn facts about history.
