This is the same small wood loom described in the Sheila Loom - Small Wooden Loom - 5x8.5 Inches - 5 Dent Kit. It just didn't pass my final inspection.

Sometimes, the defect is due to imperfections in the wood's appearance.

Sometimes, it's glue showing.

And sometimes, for some reason, some of my wood pieces for the Sheila Looms turned out to have a layer of soft plywood on the outer surface. So when I wove with the weaving needle, it created nicks. I decided to put all of those looms into the seconds. 

Each loom has the same finish and is fully functional, there are no defects that would make weaving difficult. 

It's made with birch plywood and measures 5 x 8.5 inches, with 5 notches per inch.

The loom does not come with a thin steel rod or canvas packaging as in the original kit.
