The veg-tanning process allows the full character of the leather to be exposed, honestly displaying the patina accumulated over a lifetime already lived. Lots to love, but pages are thin
Format: Paperback
This is a great little book with a variety of pictures and some nice short descriptions to stimulate conversation.
My main problem with it is that the pages are thin and when my 5 year old used a marker on them, it bled through 3 pages. (These were not particularly potent markers; if anything they were all bit dry and worn out.)
Use crayons and you should be fine.
