The Older The Scar, The Longer The Treatment Period Will Be. Before Applying The Sheets, Be Sure To Clean And Dry The Scarred Area. Then, Cut The Sheets To The Appropriate Size And Shape And Apply The Adhesive Side Directly To The Scar. Each Sheet Can Be Reused For Up To Two Weeks With Proper Care. To Clean The Sheets, Gently Wash Them In Warm Water And Let Them Dry Or Use A Hair Dryer. Safety Tips For Applying Silicone Scar Patches To Ensure Safety When Using Silicone Scar Patches, Always Wash And Dry The Scar Before Applying The Patch. Only Use The Patch On Unbroken Skin, And Avoid Using It Temporarily If The Skin Is Damaged. Keep The Patch Away From Fire Sources And Replace It Promptly. Do Not Use The Patch Continuously For More Than 24 Hours. If You Develop Symptoms Of A Skin Allergy, Such As A Rash, Try Using The Patch For A Shorter Period. If The Rash Persists, Stop Using The Patch And Seek Alternative Treatment From A Doctor. Timing For Starting Silicone Scar Sheet Treatment Wait Until The Skin Is Fully Healed And There Is No Oozing Or Crusting Before Beginning Treatment With Scar Sheets. For Post-Surgical Scars, You Can Usually Start Using Silicone Scar Sheets 1-2 Weeks After Stitches Are Removed, Or When Your Doctor Or Surgeon Gives You Clearance To Use Them. Scar Sheets Have A Water Vapor Transmission Rate That'S Less Than Half That Of Normal Skin. This Means That The Stratum Corneum Can Retain Moisture, Which Inhibits The Regeneration Of Capillaries And Reduces The Deposition Of Collagen.

There are a lot of pros to this product which include: moisturizing and stays moisturized all day, made my PIE marks (post acne marks) fade a lot faster. Repairs my skin barrier, especially while using tretinoin nightly, not too thick but thick enough to keep my face hydrated. It does not have a smell. The cons are: slight burn for about 15 seconds but disappears, it pills if I apply too much. It does pill less if I pat it on my face versus rubbing; it does not pill when I apply liquid foundation. I just have to let it dry for 15-20 mins before applying makeup. I found the pros to overpower the cons and will continue to use this product.
