6g Citrulline, 200mg Caffeine, Full Label for Real Workout Help

Heads up on the product details: the name and online checks show Bucked Up Training Shorts Grey/Red as gym apparel, not a supplement. That means the formula info doesn't match this item, so any breakdown is just on the ingredients listed, not the shorts themselves.

Looking at that ingredient list alone, it's a solid mid-level pre-workout with strong pumps, decent brain boost, and some endurance help. The idea is simple: hit you with quick effects from 6,000mg citrulline malate and 200mg caffeine, sharpen your focus with 200mg AlphaSize® alpha-GPC, and throw in extras like beta-alanine, methylcobalamin B12, sodium from Himalayan rock salt, and small bits like deer antler velvet extract and ActiGin-style botanicals. Everything's out in the open—no hidden blends—which is awesome in a world where labels often bury weak doses.

The star here is 6,000mg citrulline malate. That's a good dose for boosting nitric oxide and performance. Citrulline ramps up arginine better than taking arginine straight, since it skips breakdown in your gut and liver, then turns into arginine in the kidneys. This helps with nitric oxide, widening blood vessels for better flow. You'll notice it in bigger pumps and easier reps during heavy lifting.

Beta-alanine is at 2,000mg. It helps make carnosine in your muscles, which fights off the acid buildup from tough sets. That delays the burn so you can push harder. The science backs it up, with lots of studies showing it works, but this dose is under the usual 3.2g target.

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate — this is the heavy hitter. It boosts arginine better than straight arginine and ramps up nitric oxide for wider blood vessels, bigger pumps, and better flow during tough workouts.
  • 200mg Caffeine Anhydrous — a solid middle-ground stim that wakes you up, boosts drive, and gives real energy without going overboard. For lots of folks, this hits just right—not flat, not shaky.
  • 200mg AlphaSize® Alpha-GPC — a branded choline that helps make acetylcholine for better focus and mind-muscle link. It adds a smart focus edge over just pumps or caffeine alone.
  • 2,000mg Beta-Alanine — builds carnosine in muscles to fight acid from hard reps. Science says it's a solid performance booster, but this dose is below the classic 3.2g mark.
  • 100mcg Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin — goes with the active form instead of cheap stuff. It's more about quality nutrition than instant gym buzz, but it shows smart choices.
  • No Proprietary Blend — everything's listed with exact doses. That's key so you can see what's really working and what's just light support.
  • 100mg Himalayan Rock Salt — throws in a bit of electrolyte help for pumps and staying hydrated. Not a full setup, but smarter than ignoring sodium in pump formulas.
  • 100mg Taurine — helps with cell hydration, calcium signals, and balance, but let's be real: doses for real effects are usually 1-3g, so this is minor help, not the main event.

Who Is This For?

  • Intermediate gym folks doing muscle-building workouts who want real pumps without heavy stims. 6,000mg citrulline fits high-rep sessions for chest, shoulders, arms, legs where flow counts.
  • After-work trainers needing energy without killing sleep like 300-400mg does. 200mg caffeine is moderate for boost without overdoing it.
  • People big on focus and feeling connected to reps. 200mg AlphaSize® alpha-GPC helps with that on machines, isolations, and compounds.
  • Athletes in intervals, circuits, or dense sessions who get beta-alanine's buildup. But 2,000mg is under 3,200mg, so use steady.
  • Folks who want open labels to check doses. This shows everything, easy to see strengths.
  • Upgrading from beginner stuff—stim-free too weak, high-stim too much. 200mg caffeine, 6g citrulline, nootropics make a good middle.

How to Use

Since the name points to clothes, no real directions for this item. If it's the pre-workout formula, start with half a scoop 20-30 minutes pre-gym to check tolerance, especially for caffeine or beta-alanine newbies. Full scoop gets you the 6,000mg citrulline and 200mg caffeine. Shake in 8-12 oz cold water; more water mellows it, less amps flavor but might clump. Empty stomach speeds it up, or light meal earlier for comfort. Don't stack with other stims unless tracking total. Add creatine since this doesn't have it. Use daily for beta-alanine max, store sealed and cool to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: not much yet, especially with food, as stuff absorbs. Minutes 10-20: caffeine hits with alertness, maybe beta-alanine tingle from 2,000mg. Minutes 20-40: peak time—energy, focus, and citrulline pumps shine in the gym. Minutes 40-90: 200mg keeps it steady without hard crashes like bigger doses. Days 1-7: mostly caffeine, citrulline, focus driving it. Weeks 2-4: beta-alanine adds subtle endurance from carnosine buildup, but 2g is lighter than full doses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bucked Up Training Shorts Grey/Red actually a supplement?

No. The product handle and external source verification indicate that Bucked Up Training Shorts Grey/Red is athletic apparel, not a dietary supplement. The formula provided in this dataset appears to belong to a different product, so supplement details should not be treated as confirmed for this SKU.

If this formula is the intended product, how much caffeine does it contain?

The provided formula contains 200mg caffeine anhydrous per serving. That is a moderate stimulant dose—enough for clear pre-workout energy and focus, but generally more manageable than the 300-400mg caffeine loads found in many high-stim products.

Is 6,000mg citrulline malate a good dose?

Yes. 6g citrulline malate sits in the clinically relevant range commonly used for nitric oxide support, blood flow, and exercise performance. It is one of the strongest and most credible parts of the provided panel.

Is the beta-alanine dose fully clinical?

Not quite. The formula provides 2,000mg beta-alanine, while the most common clinical range is 3,200-6,400mg daily. It can still contribute if used consistently, but it is below the classic full loading dose used in the research.

Will this formula cause beta-alanine tingles?

It can. Even at 2,000mg, some users will notice paresthesia—the temporary tingling sensation associated with beta-alanine. It is harmless, but people new to pre-workouts should know it can happen.

What does AlphaSize® do in this formula?

AlphaSize® is a trademarked alpha-GPC ingredient that provides choline for acetylcholine synthesis. In practical terms, it is included to support focus, attention, and a better mind-muscle connection rather than just adding more raw stimulation.

Is taurine meaningfully dosed here?

Not by clinical standards. Taurine is included at 100mg, while most exercise and hydration-focused research uses 1,000-3,000mg. It is better viewed as a minor supporting ingredient than a major performance driver in this formula.

Should beginners use this formula?

Beginners can, but they should start with a half serving if the intended product is actually a pre-workout. The 200mg caffeine and beta-alanine make it more appropriate for users who understand their stimulant tolerance and pre-training response.

What should I stack with this formula?

A standalone creatine monohydrate product is the most logical stack because this formula does not include a clinical creatine dose. Creatine complements the pre-workout well by supporting phosphocreatine replenishment and strength performance over time.

Does this formula use a proprietary blend?

No. The provided panel is fully disclosed, which is a meaningful transparency advantage. You can see exactly how much of each ingredient you are getting instead of guessing behind a blend total.

Still the very best
this product is so good that it is enough to take the 'wrinkles' out of any alligator. During my times spent in Africa(23 years) this product helped sustain and maintain the texture and the quality of my skin. I will deeply recommend this product ANY DAY, ANY TIME, AND ANYWHERE.

Great Lotion, ridiculous price. Get it cheaper somewhere else.
The lotion is amazing! Been using it since I was a little girl back in Ivory Coast, the country it originates from!!! The only thing I have an issue with somehow is the price. $13 is just too damn expensive when you can get it cheaper at house of beauty world. (Website) But then again, mine comes directly from Ivory Coast when I have family that happens to be traveling back home.

Potential Buyers Be Fore-warned
Some how, my 1st review with photos & details of why I WAS rating 3 stars did not get posted. Cannot include those images that showed the condition that I found this product after I opened the shipping material. I found the exterior of the container covered with the cream & more cream was oozed out all around the bottom edge of the lid. I had to take a paper towel & wipe the excess cream product from the exterior of the container, in order to open the jar. When I did, there was more cream smeared all over the foil that was supposed to be sealed, & the grab tab to remove the foil was crimpled up off the rim of the jar with more cream oozed out all over the jar threads (for turning the lid to close the jar shut). I don't know when all of that happened to this item, & I wondered about the integrity & safety of the cream product having received it opened & appearing to have been very much compromised. The only reason that I took the time required to clean this product off was that at least it looked, felt, & smelled like the cream product that I have used before.
