HOW TO USE THE STAINLESS STEEL FOOD INSERT

• The stainless steel food insert is oven-safe up to 350F.
• Food insert can be used in the oven and transferred directly to the chafing dish for buffet-style service.

HOW TO USE THE STAINLESS STEEL WATER TRAY

• The water tray should only be used to hold water.
• Do not use it in the oven, microwave, or on the stovetop.
• When in use, monitor to ensure adequate water levels. About 1.5 inches of water is recommended.

GLASS LID

• Make sure lid is kept on at all times during serving to prevent moisture from evaporating.

BURNER

• Fuel is not included with the chafing dish.
• The stainless steel burner is designed to accommodate burner paste cartridges or other types of solid heating fuels, such as gels.
• Please read the instructions provided by the fuel manufacturer before use.
• Do not use liquid alcohol fuel in this burner. Serious injury may occur.
• Place the burner securely in the base of the stand. Note: for other sizes of solid fuel cans, such as Sterna, simply use burner base without lid.
• We recommend using a pot holder when handling burner.
• Heat may be adjusted during use by partially closing the snuffer.
• To extinguish the flame, simply place stainless steel burner cover over the opening of the burner lid. After extinguishing, allow the burner to cool down before handling.

HOW TO USE BURNER PASTE

• Remove the burner cover by twisting the lid counterclockwise.
• Drop in burner paste cartridge.
• Peel back the foil cover carefully and replace the burner lid.
• Align and lock into place firmly by twisting the lid clockwise. Proper alignment and locked closure of the lid are important in controlling the flame and heat.
• After use, remove the empty burner paste cartridge and completely clean the base and burner with hot, soapy water.

CLEANING

• Keep the stainless steel chafing dish looking beautiful by washing in hot, soapy water using a soft, wet sponge. Rinse with hot water.
• Dry using a soft cloth.
• Hand wash and dry after each use to prevent corrosion or mineral stains.
• DO NOT use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach, or strong abrasive cleaners.
• Clean the pan thoroughly after each use, food films cause sticking and discolouration on the pan when reheated.
• Avoid extreme temperature changes. Bring cooking vessels to room temperature before submerging in cold water. Not doing so may cause warping.

WARNINGS

• Never place the empty insert in the oven.
• DO NOT LEAVE OPEN FLAME UNATTENDED.
• DO NOT USE ALCOHOL FUEL IN THIS BURNER. Serious injuries may occur.
• Always wear an oven mitts to remove the burner as the knob and handles will be hot.
• Steam escaping from the lid can cause burns. Open the lid carefully so that rising steam does not come in contact with your face or hands.
• Discolouration of the stainless steel base may occur and can easily be removed with a stainless steel cleaner.
• The water tray is for water only. It is not safe for stovetop, oven, or microwave use.
• The food insert is oven-safe up to 350˚F. Not safe for stovetop or microwave use.
