Design & Feel

In 2023, I upgraded our freshwater pearl stock, and it completely changed the way this design feels. The luster became brighter, cleaner, and every pearl I chose for this pair is beautifully smooth and radiant. I added a real-life photo at the end of the product page so you can see them the way I see them at my worktable — small, bright, and very calm.

There are two ways to wear them. You can let the four pearls sit together like a little hoop, close to the ear, or you can let them fall so they become a simple, longer drop. Same pearls, same softness — just a different mood.

These are the kind of freshwater pearl earrings that disappear into your routine in the best way: they work with jeans, dresses, office days, and quiet weekends at home. Light on the ears, high in luster, and easy to pair with other minimalist pearl jewelry.

This autumn, more than three hundred pairs quietly left the studio, one by one, packed and sent out into different lives. I like to imagine them catching the light in all sorts of places — on commutes, at dinners, in quiet rooms — the same four pearls, but a different story each time.

No two pieces will ever look exactly the same as the photos — every real pearl has its own shape, glow, and quiet personality. The one that finds its way to you will be the only one of its kind — a small treasure meant for no one else.

Care Instructions

• Try to keep your pearls away from chemicals (perfume, hairspray, skincare) and prolonged sunlight exposure. Pearls are organic gemstones — with improper storage, they may gradually lose their natural glow.
• When cleaning, use a soft cloth instead of tissues or paper-based wipes. A pearl’s shine comes from the continuity of its reflective surface, and hard fibers can create micro-scratches that interrupt that smooth reflection.
• For strung pearl jewelry such as necklaces or bracelets, please check your clasps and silk thread from time to time. Even with high-quality Japanese silk, pearl strings naturally wear with use — usually after 4–5 years.
