Origin:
The wild-type Corydoras paleatus hails from cooler freshwater rivers in South America, particularly in Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. The albino form was developed through aquarium breeding.

Feeding:
Omnivorous and easy to please. Feed sinking pellets, wafers, and frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, daphnia, and brine shrimp. They’ll also scavenge leftover food but should be specifically targeted with bottom-dwelling food for optimal health.

Tank Mates:
Very peaceful and sociable, perfect for planted community tanks. Best kept in groups of 5 or more, which encourages natural schooling and reduces stress. Ideal companions include tetras, rasboras, guppies, dwarf gouramis, and other peaceful fish.
