The Ross Cimarron Coors Banquet Fly Reel is a tribute to the spirit of the American West — the heritage of Coors Banquet and the rugged performance of Ross Reels coming together in one limited-edition reel. Classic Colorado style, modern fly fishing engineering, and a finish that performs as good as it looks.
The name says it all. Cimarron: /sim-uh-rohn/ — wild, untamed. The original Cimarron came out in the 1980s and became a hallmark of the Ross brand. This reimagined platform honors that legacy and brings it up to what today's anglers expect. Gold and red accents pay homage to the iconic Coors Banquet can, making this reel stand out on the water and in any collection.
Built on the newly redesigned Cimarron platform, the reel runs a drag system based on the renowned Ross Animas — dependable stopping power in a lightweight anodized aluminum frame. The premium bronze Cerakote drag knob gives precise adjustments and stands up to drops and dings. The Cerakoted escapement cover adds another layer of durability and a refined finishing touch. Strategically enhanced frame walls handle whatever the day throws at it. The brown canvas micarta handle keeps a confident grip in wet conditions.
