NAC, TUDCA, and milk thistle with everything out in the open

Axe & Sledge Liver + is a no-BS liver support with everything listed out clear as day. The idea is simple: pick a few key ingredients that really help your liver, dose them right, and ditch the usual detox junk. No hidden blends here—just five ingredients with exact amounts: 1,000mg milk thistle extract, 1,000mg N-acetyl L-cysteine, 250mg TUDCA, 250mg Picrorhiza kurroa root extract standardized to 5% kutkin, and 50mg AstraGin®. In a world of weak herb mixes, this transparency is a big win.

Milk thistle extract leads the pack for antioxidant and liver protection. It's known for silymarin, which fights oxidative stress in liver cells and keeps enzymes in check. At 1,000mg, this is a hefty dose for everyday use—way better than skimpy amounts. You won't feel it right away, but it's solid backing for your liver.

N-acetyl L-cysteine at 1,000mg is a star here. NAC turns into cysteine, which helps make glutathione—your liver's top antioxidant for cleaning up junk. A gram is a strong daily hit, making this better than your average store liver supp. It's not something you feel like a stim, but it's working hard on balance and defense.

TUDCA at 250mg takes Liver + up a notch from basic herb stuff. Tauroursodeoxycholic acid is a bile acid derivative used to support bile flow,

A&S Liver + by Axe & Sledge contains 1000mg Milk Thistle Extract (Silybum marianum)(seed), a effective dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 1,000mg N-Acetyl L-Cysteine — a solid daily amount that gives your body cysteine to make glutathione. That's your liver's key antioxidant, so NAC is a must-have in any real liver supp.
  • 250mg TUDCA — this is what makes it more than just herbs. TUDCA helps with bile flow and keeps liver cells handling stress, which is why smart folks hunt for it.
  • 1,000mg Milk Thistle Extract — a big dose of a classic liver helper. The silymarin in it supports protection and antioxidants, and this amount means business.
  • 250mg Picrorhiza kurroa extract standardized to 5% kutkin — not junk filler, but a real plant extract for extra liver support. It adds more protection beyond just milk thistle.
  • 50mg AstraGin® — dosed right, not just for show. It boosts absorption in your gut, which is smart for getting the most out of these capsules.
  • Fully disclosed label — every ingredient and dose is right there. Beats the prop blends in most liver supps, so you know what you're getting.
  • No proprietary blends — important because liver products often sneak in weak stuff under fancy names. Here, it's all about NAC, milk thistle, TUDCA, Picrorhiza, and AstraGin®.
  • Built around real benefits, not hype — covers antioxidants, bile flow, cell protection, and absorption. Way better than buzzword detox crap.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders in growth mode eating big and stacking supps, wanting real liver help over basic stuff. 1,000mg NAC, 250mg TUDCA, and 1,000mg milk thistle match that intense life.
  • Physique folks post-prep tightening their health while keeping supps on point. It's about glutathione, bile, and plant protection, not trendy detox.
  • Lifters who get bloodwork and like seeing every dose. No blends here— all clear, each ingredient has a job.
  • Gym rats training 5-6 days with pre's, pumps, sleep aids, and recovery. Liver handles the load, this supp backs it with key ingredients.
  • Wellness types wanting proactive support. If you know NAC and milk thistle but want TUDCA and Picrorhiza too, this upgrades you.
  • Over-40 trainers pushing hard, watching markers, building long-term strength. It's about real liver ingredients, not hype or quick feels.

How to Use

Take 4 capsules a day. Easiest with a meal to make it comfy and routine. It's stim-free, so no need to time it for workouts— just same time daily. If new to NAC or TUDCA, start with 2 caps for a bit then go to 4 to check how you feel. Swallow with water, no hassle. Stacks with creatine, protein, electrolytes, fish oil, multis, and pre's since it's liver-focused. No big cycling needed— value is in steady use. Keep it cool and dry, lid tight.

What to Expect

No big sensory rush here— no stims. Day one, it's simple: four capsules, no crash, no shakes, no mixing, and you know what's in it. First week, it's about building routine as the ingredients give steady backup. By weeks 2-4, it clicks for folks wanting long-term support in their stack. Stick with it for real liver coverage, not instant feels. If you want quick vibes, wrong supp. If you like quiet workers letting your other stuff shine, this is it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Axe & Sledge Liver + actually do?

Liver + is a dedicated liver support formula designed to support hepatic function, antioxidant defense, and bile-related physiology. It does that with 1,000mg NAC for glutathione support, 250mg TUDCA for bile flow and liver cell support, 1,000mg milk thistle extract, 250mg Picrorhiza kurroa extract, and 50mg AstraGin® for absorption support.

Is the Liver + formula fully disclosed?

Yes. This product uses a full-disclosure label with no proprietary blends, so you can see every active ingredient and its exact dose. That is a major advantage in the liver support category, where many products hide underdosed herbs behind vague detox blend names.

How much NAC is in Liver + per serving?

Each full 4-capsule serving delivers 1,000mg of N-Acetyl L-Cysteine. That is a meaningful daily dose and one of the strongest components of the formula because NAC supports glutathione production, which is central to liver antioxidant defense.

Why is TUDCA included at 250mg?

TUDCA is included because it provides a more advanced form of liver support than herbs alone. At 250mg, it contributes to bile-related function and hepatocyte support, which is why informed users often seek it out specifically when comparing liver formulas.

Do I take Liver + every day or only when I train?

Take it daily. This formula is not tied to workout timing, because its benefits come from consistent physiological support rather than an acute pre-workout effect. Daily use is the best way to get value from NAC, TUDCA, milk thistle, and Picrorhiza.

Can I stack Liver + with pre-workout, creatine, and protein?

Yes. Liver + works well alongside standard sports nutrition staples because it targets a different system. It complements stimulant pre-workouts, creatine, protein powders, and recovery supplements without duplicating their primary mechanisms.

Will I feel this product working right away?

Probably not in the way you feel caffeine, nootropics, or pump ingredients. Liver + is a support formula, so its value is in consistent use over days and weeks rather than an acute sensation after one serving.

What is AstraGin® doing in a liver support supplement?

AstraGin® is included at 50mg to support absorption by upregulating intestinal transporters involved in amino acids, vitamins, peptides, fatty acids, and phytonutrients. It also has research suggesting support for ATP production in hepatic cells, which makes it a smart fit in this formula.

Is this better than a basic milk thistle-only product?

Yes, because it is much more complete. A basic milk thistle formula gives you one traditional botanical, while Liver + combines that with 1,000mg NAC, 250mg TUDCA, Picrorhiza kurroa, and AstraGin® to address antioxidant support, bile-related function, hepatoprotection, and absorption.

Are there any stimulants in Liver +?

No. This is a stim-free capsule formula with no caffeine or central nervous system stimulants. It is designed for daily organ support, not energy or performance stimulation.

Fits Magic Keyboard Perfectly
Size: Keyboard Wrist Rest (Pack of 1), Style: Slim
This is exactly the length of the Magic Keyboard and it is low to the ground. I did buy a thing that angles the Magic Keyboard slightly upwards in the back so it has a small angle and then I have this wrist rest. It is wonderful. I am so glad after all the digging and looking I found this one and bought it. I took it out of the box and didn't remove the paper on the back to make sure I liked it. I do, I love it. It is not only comfortable, it looks sleek, fits exactly and I don't get sore after hours upon hours of typing. The quality is good. I have zero complaints and feel lucky this is the first one I chose as it hit the mark.

Comfortable Wrist Rest for larger laptops.
Size: Keyboard Wrist Rest (Pack of 1), Style: Mechanical & Gaming
I bought this to use with my new 17 inch MSI gaming laptop. I was getting a very sore wrist as the laptop is pretty tall. This is tall enough that it is preventing the strain on the wrist. It is comfortable and not too hard, but firm enough to support my wrists. It is long enough to fit the entire length of my laptop without being too long. The curved shape puts the extra padding on the left side where I use it most for the WASD keys, but also gives me padding on the right for when I am typing and need it there also. It has a strong durable feel to it, but is smooth and soft. The bottom is shiny and rubbery and grips my lapdesk so that it does not slip and stays right where I place it. It appears to be well constructed, and considering the price, I would expect nothing less. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a large laptop or gaming keyboard.

Sleek looking and feeling wrist rest
Size: Keyboard Wrist Rest (Pack of 1), Style: Slim
5 Year Update: it finally had a tear on the corner and you can feel the gooey adhesive-like gel peak its way out. Not exactly sure how it happened. Could be my sharp nails or i may have grazed it with a box cutter while opening some packages. Keep sharp objects away from the pad! For now, i've put some clear tape over it to see how that holds. Still very useable. I got the slim one and it looks and feels great. It has a classy executive look to it and my wrists glide easily across it which is surprising since it's made out of some kind of vinyl/rubbery texture. It has a leather grain on it which actually feels similar to faux-leather. It looks as if it would be very easy to clean off if you get dirt and oil on it. That being said, my 3 caveats are: 1) it needs to be about 1 cm wider for full coverage on a standard 101 keyboard 2) I wish the size of the pad was the same all throughout the length, so that the wrist will have more to rest on when using the numpad 3) It could be squishier/ be more cushiony. It's actually quite stiff for a gel pad. It feels almost like you're resting your wrist on a leather bound book but with a thin layer of padding on it. This could be because its the slim version since there is less gel material. I would imagine the regular thickness version will be better cushioned. Overall, its a great pad and would fit right in on an executive desk because its understated and has a very leathery look and feel to it. Much classier than most gaming focused wrist rests and the price is right.
