Flywoo Flylens 85 HD O4 Wide

So, you want to film cinematic 4K footage but you also have the spatial awareness of a goldfish in a blender? Welcome to the Flylens 85. Flywoo has somehow crammed the DJI O4 digital system into a 2-inch frame that weighs less than your average Cornish pasty. It’s sub-100g, it’s 2S, and it’s specifically designed to make you look like a better pilot than you actually are. We won't tell your Instagram followers if you don't.

Why You Want It

Let's be real: your current whoop footage looks like it was filmed through a potato. The Flylens 85 uses a unique CNC damping platform for the O4 camera, effectively curing the "jelly effect" that plagues lesser drones. Since it's a reverse-push configuration, it’s quieter and more efficient, meaning you can annoy the neighbours for longer while capturing crisp, low-latency 4K video. It’s legal, it’s lethal (to boredom), and it’s the lightest O4 drone on the market. If you’re still flying analog indoors, who hurt you?

Specs

  • Model: Flylens 85 HD O4 Wide 2S Whoop (The fancy one)
  • Frame: Flylens 85 O4 Pro Frame Kit (Tougher than it looks)
  • FC/ESC: GOKU F405 HD 1-2S ELRS AIO V2 (The brains of the operation)
  • Transmission: DJI O4 Air Unit (The reason you're spending the big bucks)
  • Camera: Flywoo O4 Wide Camera (For that cinematic FOV)
  • Motors: ROBO 1003 14800KV (High-RPM spinny bits)
  • Propellers: 2015 2-Blade Props (Pushing air, defying physics)
  • Antenna: Flywoo 5.8G Light 3dBi Brass Antenna UFL (Don't snap it)
  • LEDs: Flywoo Flexible LED + 3.3V Bec (Because looking cool is mandatory)
  • Weight: 75.3g (Without battery, obviously)

In the Box

  • 1x Flylens 85 HD O4 Wide 2S Whoop
  • 1x 90° USB-C Data Cable (Because straight cables are a structural nightmare)
  • 3x TPU Battery Mounts (550mah, 750mah, and 1000mah for the optimists)
  • 1x O4 Wide ND Filter (Keep those shutter speeds in check)
  • 8x 2015-2 Spare Props (For when the trees win)
  • 1x Screwdriver & Hardware Set (To fix your mistakes)

Compatibility

Ready to bind with your DJI Goggles 2, Goggles Integra, or Goggles 3 and your favourite ELRS radio. It’s also compatible with O3 Lite if you’re feeling nostalgic for last year’s tech.

Highlights

  • O4 Digital Magic: 4K high-definition video with latency so low it's basically telepathy.
  • Sub-100g: Fly in the UK without needing a permit from the Prime Minister.
  • CNC Damping: Mechanical isolation for the lens because vibrations are the enemy of art.
  • Reverse Push Power: Stable flight, more endurance, and a sound profile that isn't a screaming banshee.

Notes

To avoid shaky footage, ensure your coaxial cable isn't touching the carbon frame. If you're upgrading from O3, grab the O4 shell case. STL files for your 3D printing addiction are available at the Flywoo support center.

Still Here?

If you're still reading, you're clearly a spec-nerd or a bot crawler. Either way, the Flylens 85 O4 Wide is the best 2S sub-100g FPV drone for 4K cinematic indoor flight. Stop overthinking and get it in the air. #Flywoo #O4Whoop #FPVUK #Flylens85 #4KWhoop

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
