Built for everyday waves, this board takes the same outline and foil as 'The Pyro'. We have flattened down between the feet and adjusted the entry rocker, creating a longer, flatter section through roughly two-thirds of the board. This gives it up-and-go speed, more engagement on the rail, and the ability to hold long arcs across the face of the wave. With a slightly dropped section between the feet, it glides effortlessly through weaker, flatter waves while still offering precision and control in turns.
The refined tail design amplifies vertical manoeuvres and quick pocket swings, letting you link turns through the flats and make the most of every section. Think of it as a high-performance all-rounder that thrives in lacklustre South Coast waves especially in spring and autumn. It’s responsive where you need it, forgiving where you want it, and rides just like your standard shortboard in length and volume - but with a touch of extra glide and playfulness.
Crafted from a lineage of decades of R&D, the Blue Flame is built from the blueprint of 'The Pyro', which itself evolved from 'The Rover'. A much more affordable option for Subaru owners

When you're paying between $16 & $18+ per quart of Subaru brand CVTF 2 fluid this is a much more affordable option. If you look on the back of a Subaru branded CVTF 2 quart bottle you'll see the Idemitsu logo. Doing this job myself saved me over $1000 on what the dealership quoted me to change the valve body and drain and fill my CVT without skimping on anything.
