- The Zetec pistons will ONLY work with an aftermarket floating pin type forged rod with a 20mm diameter (take a look at the Eagle rods on this site). They will NOT work with the OEM zetec OR SVT rod.
A word about bore sizes:
- 85mm - a stock Zetec 2.0 found in Focus, Contour, ZX2, etc is 84.8. When overbored .007", this brings the bore to 85mm
- 85.5 - Zetec bore to .027" oversize
