Classic Goodtime Two™ 19-Fret Tenor Banjo

Perfect for traditional jazz/dixieland music, this American maple 19-fret Goodtime Two tenor banjo is light weight and stained in a rich, dark brown. Crafted with planetary tuners, side dots, a Deering peghead shape, and white inlays, the neck is slim and easy to play. The natural maple brightness, frosted bottom head and tenor strings tuned CGDA, create a banjo that is bright, with good sustain. The 3-ply violin grade maple rim is crafted of the same wood used on our professional level Deering banjos and opens up the sound of the banjo giving it a full, round, rich clarity. The resonator, as is its function, makes the banjo louder. Tuned in fifths, this is also a banjo easily played by mandolin or violin players who want a banjo they can use for songs they already know because they can use the same chord forms.
