The Roland SC-88VL Sound Canvas is a compact MIDI sound module renowned for its high-quality instrument samples and compatibility with General MIDI (GM) and Roland's GS format. Released in 1996, it offers 32-part multitimbrality and 64-voice polyphony, enabling complex musical arrangements.

  • This unit shows a little bit of wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. There is nothing major at all. Please see all photos.

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested and we can confirm it is working as it should.

  • This SC-88VL has had a brand new memory battery installed.

  • This unit powers on with a 9V Negative center power supply. This power supply will be included for Australian and New Zealand buyers only.

  • This sale is for the SC-88VL and PSU (AU & NZ only). Nothing else is included in the sale.

Great but Pain
It’s alright, does the job as it is supposed to. It’s easy to use and helped fix my Uniqlo jacket that was all matted. It didn't restore it to it's original form however it did unmat it. If I bought this way before and touched up the jacket, I think it would of been perfect to this day still. Maintenance of those jackets are a must! The brush is strong and works well for fluffing it up because of the metal wiring. The only bad parts are that it can hurt if you accidentally poke or scratch yourself, I actually got cut by it when I quickly was brushing. It’s kind of hard to get the lint off the brush but it's better than others and might hurt because of the metal. But overall, it’s a cool tool that makes my jacket fluff again!
