400mg caffeine from two sources with Nitrosigine® and legit focus boosters

Black Magic Villain is a straight-up high-stim pre-workout with everything out in the open. It focuses on three big things: energy that hits hard but lasts, strong mental sharpness, and real gym gains beyond just caffeine. The label shows it all—no hidden blends, no junk fillers for show, and doses that match what studies suggest for sports nutrition. This isn't a max-pump citrulline bomb or an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink mix. It's built for high-output training where you want energy, focus, better blood flow, and the ability to keep pushing in one scoop.

The main endurance player is 3,200mg beta-alanine. That's the standard daily dose from research to boost carnosine in your muscles. Carnosine fights off the acid buildup from tough workouts, so when the burn hits, your reps don't slow down as fast. It's one of the most proven ingredients out there, and Villain packs the full effective amount, not some weak token dose.

For pumps and blood flow, it's 1,500mg Nitrosigine® teamed with 1,500mg agmatine sulfate. Nitrosigine® is a patented mix of inositol, arginine, and silicate that boosts nitric oxide better than plain arginine by making it more available and stable. At 1.5g, it's the dose you see in good pre-workouts for wider blood vessels, better flow, and that fuller feel in your muscles during sets. Agmatine adds to it by tweaking nitric oxide signals and giving that round, dense pump high-volume lifters love, especially without loading up on citrulline.

The focus side is super cool here. L-Tyrosine at 1,500mg gives your body the building blocks for dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, which really help when you're under workout stress.

Black Magic Villain by Black Magic Supply contains 20mg Vitamin B3, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 400mg total caffeine from two types—250mg fast-acting anhydrous for that quick kick you expect in a real pre, and 150mg Xternergy® extended-release to keep you going strong. You get sustained energy without relying on one big spike that fades.
  • 3,200mg beta-alanine—this is the daily dose backed by sports studies to build up carnosine in muscles. More carnosine means handling workout acid better, so tough sets feel like you can push through longer.
  • 1,500mg Nitrosigine®—a patented combo of inositol, arginine, and silicate for nitric oxide and blood flow support. It's more reliable than basic arginine, making it a top pick for pumps and performance in today's pre-workouts.
  • 1,500mg agmatine sulfate—a solid dose on its own for fuller, denser pumps and extra nitric oxide help. It teams up great with Nitrosigine® for pump effects without huge scoops.
  • 1,500mg L-Tyrosine—a big dose for focus that helps make brain chemicals during stress. That's why Villain feels locked in and ready to perform, not just buzzed on caffeine.
  • 500mg choline plus 400mg Alpha GPC 50%—two ways to boost acetylcholine for sharper focus in the gym. Helps with mind-muscle link, clean reps, and staying on top when you're getting tired.
  • 150mg elevATP®—the dose from performance studies. Adds a non-stim boost to help your body make more ATP for power, unlike pre's that are all caffeine and no real engine.
  • 100mg CognatiQ™ whole coffee fruit extract—not for extra stims. It's here to support brain function and pair with caffeine and the focus stack for a cleaner, more engaged workout vibe.

Black Magic Villain by Black Magic Supply contains 20mg Vitamin B3, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned high-stim fans who handle 300mg+ caffeine fine and want energy that lasts the whole workout. 250mg anhydrous plus 150mg extended Xternergy® beats basic one-hit stims.
  • Bodybuilders and volume trainers chasing hypertrophy who need mental fire and visible pumps. 1,500mg Nitrosigine®, 1,500mg agmatine, and focus stack fit that perfectly.
  • Folks training after long days who need their brain to match their body. L-Tyrosine, choline, Alpha GPC, CognatiQ™, and caffeine flip the switch beyond plain energy.
  • Strength guys in build phases fighting fatigue across sets. 3,200mg beta-alanine is the studied dose for carnosine and better acid handling.
  • Anyone hating prop blends who wants to check doses against real research. Villain's all transparent, a big plus in this shady category.
  • Gym rats wanting a punchy pre without weird stims. Intensity comes from big caffeine, backed by nootropics and performance stuff.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop with 10-16 oz cold water, drink 20-30 minutes pre-training. Timing works because fast caffeine starts quick, extended carries on. New to high-stims? Half-scoop first to check tolerance—400mg is no joke. Shake it well for smooth mix, add water if you want less intensity. Empty stomach speeds it up, post-meal softens it. Don't stack with other caffeine bombs unless you're tracking intake. Use consistently on lift days for beta-alanine perks, add 3-5g creatine daily since it's not in here. Store sealed, cool, dry, no moisture in the tub.

What to Expect

0-10 minutes: alertness starts climbing, formula feels like it's waking up. 10-20 minutes: caffeine really hits, and 3,200mg beta-alanine often brings those classic tingles in face, neck, or hands. 20-40 minutes: peak time where focus sharpens, drive ramps, and Nitrosigine® plus agmatine make muscles feel full as you start. 40-90 minutes: dual caffeine keeps things from dropping off like single-source pre's. Days 1-7: you feel the energy, focus, and pumps right away, beta-alanine just starting to load. Weeks 2-4: carnosine builds, making hard reps easier. Over time, Villain becomes your reliable pre-ritual.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Black Magic Villain Pre-Workout?

Villain contains 400mg total caffeine per scoop: 250mg from caffeine anhydrous and 150mg from Xternergy® extended-release caffeine. That is a high-stim dose designed for experienced users who want both immediate energy and a more sustained workout window.

Is Villain a pump pre-workout or a stim pre-workout?

It is primarily a high-stim pre-workout with meaningful pump support. The stimulant backbone is the defining feature, but 1,500mg Nitrosigine® and 1,500mg agmatine sulfate give it a legitimate blood flow and pump component rather than making it caffeine-only.

Does Villain use a proprietary blend?

No. Villain is fully transparent, which means every active ingredient and every dose is disclosed on the label. That makes it much easier to evaluate against research and compare honestly to competing formulas.

Why does Villain include both caffeine anhydrous and extended-release caffeine?

Caffeine anhydrous gives the fast onset most users want before training, while Xternergy® extended-release caffeine is included to smooth out the back half of the session. The idea is to reduce the sharp drop-off that often happens with single-source stimulant formulas.

Will Villain make me tingle?

Probably. It contains 3,200mg beta-alanine, which is the standard research-backed daily dose and commonly causes a harmless tingling sensation called paresthesia. Some users feel it strongly, others only mildly.

Is the 400mg Alpha GPC a full Alpha GPC dose?

The label lists 400mg of Alpha GPC 50%, which yields about 200mg actual alpha-GPC. That is a useful nootropic inclusion, especially when paired with 500mg choline and 1,500mg tyrosine, but it is not as high as products using 300-600mg actual alpha-GPC.

Can I stack Villain with creatine?

Yes, and it is a smart stack. Villain does not include creatine, so adding 3-5g creatine monohydrate daily complements the formula by supporting phosphocreatine replenishment and high-intensity output alongside beta-alanine and elevATP®.

How long before training should I take Villain?

Most users do best taking it 20-30 minutes pre-workout. That window gives the caffeine anhydrous time to come on while still allowing the extended-release caffeine to support the later stages of training.

Can I use Villain for evening workouts?

For most people, it is not ideal for late training. With 400mg total caffeine and an extended-release caffeine source, the stimulant effect can last long enough to interfere with sleep.

What is Nitrosigine® doing in this formula?

Nitrosigine® is a patented inositol arginine silicate complex used to support nitric oxide production and blood flow. At 1,500mg, it helps create stronger pumps and better workout blood flow without relying on plain arginine, which is a less effective pre-workout choice.

Obsessed. Soothing, effective, fragrance-free, incredibly healing
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I’ve been loving this so much I bought a second bottle after a few days of using it. It has all the skin soothing benefits of the tolerance lotion cleanser, but it’s also a really great cleanser. It’s almost not noticeable how good it is at cleansing because your skin doesn’t feel stripped after, but it takes things off really quickly. I was worried because it doesn’t foam a lot and it feels so nurturing — much like the tolerance lotion cleanser (which I use as a second cleanse when my skin needs a few days to recover from something like a derm office treatment) — but when I wash again with my favorite HG cleanser nothing extra comes off, and I tested it twice on waterproof eyeliner that I’d swiped on my forearm for an hour or so, the eyeliner dissolved and wiped off with two or three gentle swipes. It has a very emollient texture, so when you rub it against your skin it slips so easily you don’t realize it’s dissolving and taking things away because there is no friction. So it’s great at taking off makeup, it’s AMAZING at cleaning makeup brushes, and IT DOES NOT BURN MY EYES AT ALL. Also, it is FRAGRANCE-FREE… before I bought it I read a review complaining about smelling a citrus fragrance, that person either has some sort of brain tumor or something spilled on their bottle when it was in a warehouse because this is definitely a fragrance-free product. Prior to trying this, I had tried another cleanser that gave me weird acne hives all over my chest (never happened to me before) and I was struggling to heal the acne and the irritation. I noticed an immediate difference when I started using the tolerance cleanser on it; the fresh redness went away, the acne started healing, and the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has been healing fast. So I’ve been using this on my body as well and it’s soothing and moisturizing in all the places where other things have been drying. I have mild rosacea and I hadn’t realized how irritated my skin was from the last thing I’d tried until after 5 days or so of using this my skin tone looked much more even and the stubborn PIH I have from a two-zit hormonal breakout a month ago finally looked dramatically lighter (as recently as the week before, I’d needed to cover them with high-coverage concealer). Because this doesn’t foam much, some people might not realize how well it’s cleaning… I encourage you to judge it based on how your skin looks and feels. Since it is very emollient though, I do think it’s important to use it with a face wash scrubber or washcloth just to ensure you’re getting some mild mechanical exfoliation and clearing away skin cells that could be trapping stuff in your pores. For this reason, I do wash my face with this twice so the first wash can get off makeup/debris/oil and then the second wash can really penetrate and clean my skin.

No Scent and Gentle
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I broke out in a case of Perioral Dermatitis recently and bought this product to help before I could see my doctor. Avene Tolerance facial cleanser has no scent and is very gentle on my skin. It didn’t burn when washing with this product, and even helped to slough off the dead skin around my lips. My face feels clean, not dry. I am still going to see my doc to get an RX for the inflammation, but I do believe this product helped to alleviate the dryness and tightness of my skin and lips. I’ve used other Avene products and I’m very happy with them. Even though these products are more expensive, to me they are well worth the money because they are much more gentle on the skin than any other products I’ve used. I will buy this product again just because of the fact that it’s so gentle. PS: at the time of purchase for this product, I also bought Avene’s Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream (you don’t need to use a lot of this one on your entire face), and Avene’s Cicalfate for lips. Between these 3 products, my lips and skin feel a lot better (however, I will still see my doctor because I have Crohn’s Disease and Perioral Dermatitis is considered an extra-intestinal side effect of Crohn’s).

Gentle everyday cleanser!
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
My go to nightly cleanser! Gentle yet effective. Removes makeup without leaving any residue behind. Also does not dry out my skin or cause breakouts! I would say it’s more of a cream cleanser though. It does not really foam up. It’s a decent size bottle for the price. The pump dispenser is an added plus!

So gentle and moisturizing. Great for super sensitive skin.
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
This is so gentle and moisturizing. Does not irritate my skin in any way. My skin is super sensitive and I have atopic dermatitis, it has been the best cleanser I’ve used to date. I was using another one from this brand and it was fine but this is the one I will continually stick with from now on. Just hope they don’t change the formula.
