The ATS Billet intermediate shaft is part of the back bone of your Ford Powerstrokes transmission. It is one of the first hard parts to bring power into the transmission and transmit that power to the wheels. With no dampening or power loss other than the torque converter, the shafts in your transmission have a lot to handle. Now add power, weight from a trailer, bigger tires (and is some cases all these things together) and you will be well beyond what that factory shaft was designed for.The theory behind billet shafts is not quite what you may have in mind. The key to success is not to make the shaft "stronger" necessarily, but give it the ability to absorb more torsional load. The way we do this, is by using billet shafts, they have the ability to rotate further with out breaking. This is going to give the transmission more "give" and allow it to transmit more torque and more load with out breaking.

Biltong > Jerky! Delicious!!

I've been doing the low carb/keto "thing" for 2+ years. Sometimes you get tired of eating so much protein. However, my friend told me to try this Biltong and I AM GLAD I DID. It's so moist and the flavor profiles are so deep. Most jerky I find in stores tries to drown the flavor of the meat in sugar or soy sauce, but in this Biltong MEAT IS THE STAR OF THE SHOW. My favorite flavor so far has been the Peri Peri. When I read the bag it said it might be spicy but the spice really sneaks up on you. Needless to say the whole bag "mysteriously" disappeared 30 minutes later.
All in all, if you like jerky but want high quality meat that isn't just a sugar delivery device I highly recommend this product!

Solid jerky

These have a great flavor! I love the thin slices and the simple ingredient list. Some of the pieces were a bit too grizzly for me though and hurts the overall taste consistency for me as I don’t like the taste of those fattier pieces. Overall I would buy again.

Terrible Tasting Biltong

Small bits and shreds of meat including whole chunks of soft fat. Thick oily coating on most of the pieces. Tastes like cheap grocery store jerky. I will not buy this again. Tastes nothing like the excellent quality Kalahari brand of biltong that I have previously tried.

The closest I've been to an actual African journey.

I've always wanted to trek to the high seas and down the Ivory Coast, making my way to South Africa. Alas, I have yet to have the chance. But with Brooklyn Biltong, I felt like I was part of that great adventure.
From the moment the package arrived in the mail, I was excited to dive in. The three different colors of the packages was really enticing. Which flavor first - red, yellow, or blue!?
I went with the original flavor first (red) to get a real sense of the product. As I opened up the package I was overwhelmed with the smells of air dried goodness, with a hint of coriander. With just enough bite, I went into paleo heaven. As a gym and health nut, this was the perfect treat after I blasted off reps of 350lbs. It gave me the energy I needed to really make my way through the day before hitting the club later than night with my bros.
But how can we forget about the other flavors? Jo'burg steakhouse? O.M.G. I legit thought I was hanging with the late great Charlie Palmer nibbling down on some garlicy cow goodness. The Peri Peri BROUGHT. DA. HEAT. I felt like I was on trial with all that SPICE.
This is the real deal. You don't need to go to Brooklyn to wear skinny jeans and you don't need to hop on a plane to South Africa to get the whole experience.
Worth. Every. Bit. Of. My. Hard. Earned. Cash.
