The Icarus Sky is a modern low-pack-volume 9-cell main canopy built to cover a wide range of sport skydiving. It is designed to be easy and forgiving at lighter wing loadings, while still offering enough glide, slow-flight stability and flare power to keep experienced jumpers happy.
If the Omni is the practical 7-cell all-rounder, the Sky is the more classic 9-cell everyday wing: smooth openings, efficient flight, predictable handling and a strong finish in the landing area.

Flight character
Icarus describes the Sky around consistent, on-heading, soft openings, exceptional glide, stable slow flight and powerful flare. The canopy is intended to feel pleasant and manageable rather than aggressive, with enough performance to remain enjoyable as the pilot grows.
Design features
- 9-cell elliptical planform.
- LPV hybrid ZP/LP fabric construction for reduced pack volume.
- Open nose, standard ribs, standard stabilizers and standard trim.
- Vectran lines for trim stability.
- Recommended wing loading range approximately 0.5–1.9 psf, depending on pilot experience and intended use.
Pack volume and ordering
The LPV construction is useful when container space matters, but sizing still needs to be checked properly. Confirm canopy size, wing loading and container compatibility with a qualified rigger or canopy coach before ordering.
