Second part of the historical saga which tells the story of the most powerful family during the Renaissance period: The Medicis.

Florence, 1469. Lorenzo de Medici is winning the tournament in honor of his wife, Clarice Orsini, who just arrived in Florence for her wedding with the man who will soon become The Magnificent.

This marriage is not an easy step for Lorenzo: he is convinced that his heart belongs, and will always, belong to Lucrezia Donati, a fascinating and extraordinarily beautiful woman. However, he will succumb to his mother's will of marriage to Clarice in order to strengthen their alliance with a powerful Roman family.

Called to his duty to govern the city, and divided between love and power, Lorenzo underestimates his adversaries who are plotting against him to bring him down as Florence's leader. It is then that a period of violence and revenge will begin, with grave consequences from which very few will be spared.
