It has the Black MIJ label and was made in July, 1981. The serial can be found in the battery compartment.

In 1980 the BF-2 was released to replace the BF-1. It was such a popular pedal, it was produced from 1980 till 2001. Reverb describe the BF-2 as "an effect-defining pedal that gave shape to the whirling, shifting sound of '80s riffs and sky-high leads."

This model was built in Japan. It has the Black MIJ label and was made in July, 1981. The serial can be found in the battery compartment. It is 083600.

Condition:

 

  • This is a used unit.

  • This is an early model, built in Japan in 1984. It shows some general signs of use and age like scratches and marks. However, overall it is still a nice piece for a 44 year old guitar pedal. Please see all photos for further details.

  • This unit is 100% functional. All controls work as they should. This pedal sounds great!

  • This unit can power off a 9V battery or the Boss ACA power adaptor or equivalent. Neither are included in the sale.

  • This sale is for the BF-2 only. Nothing else is included in this sale unless mentioned above.

Definitely organizes and maximizes cabinet space for spice storage. It’s a little rickety. If you are using glass spice jars you will likely need to use the included screws into the cabinet because the double face tape it comes with might not hold up. It might work with the plastic spice containers, but even then it seems like it would not be sturdy enough to hold the weight. The instructions were clear and it installed quickly. If it lasts, it was definitely a value upgrade in my cabinet.
