2013 First-Class Forever Stamp - Contemporary Christmas: Gingerbread House with Red Roof and DoorThis stamp is part of a block of four issued for the 2013 holiday season. The gingerbread houses were constructed specifically for the stamp design. Gingerbread evolved from a centuries old recipe, but ingredients varied across the globe. Quite happily, the gingerbread houses Americans love today are drastically different from the medieval version. The name stems from gingerbras, a word borrowed from thirteenth century France meaning preserved ginger.

Gingerbread evolved from a centuries-old recipe, but ingredients varied across the globe.Quite happily, the gingerbread houses Americans love today are drastically different from the medieval version.
The name stems from gingerbras, a word borrowed from thirteenth-century France meaning preserved ginger. In days preceding refrigeration, bits of the richly scented spice were added to recipes to mask the odor of spoiled meat.By the next century, the name had changed to gingerbread. In the 15th century, one of the earliest-known recipes for the treat was published. It called for breadcrumbs, which were to be boiled in honey, laced with spices, and pressed into wooden molds. In England, 16th century bakers replaced breadcrumbs with flour and added eggs and sugar.Queen Elizabeth I, who loved dessert, is credited with introducing the first gingerbread man.
Houses made of gingerbread and decorated with candy soon became a holiday tradition. In some countries, wine, brandy, or ale are more common ingredients.Bakers in other regions add candied citrus peel, pepper, or anise in place of the ginger.Honey and molasses are often substituted for sugar.Regardless of the recipe, the charming gingerbread cottages are guaranteed to delight family and friends.

Great for keeping bank statements clean but random security delays are frustrating
Reload type: One Time Reload
I use the balance reload tool to manage my monthly budget and easily hit credit card sign-up bonuses. It keeps my bank statements totally clean by grouping dozens of tiny e-book and movie rental charges into one single transaction. Most of the time the whole process works flawlessly and the money shows up in my account within five minutes. It is honestly the easiest way to put a hard limit on my family's everyday online shopping.
You just need to watch out for a few annoying system quirks when you load larger amounts of money. Even though it usually works instantly the automated security filter sometimes flags big reloads and freezes the transaction for hours. This random delay is incredibly frustrating if you are trying to add cash fast to catch a lightning deal before it expires. You also have to remember that this balance is strictly non-refundable and cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
Overall this is still a great method for organizing online spending and maximizing your cash-back credit card rewards. It totally fixed how I track household purchases but you definitely have to tolerate the occasional processing delays. My best advice is to load your account a day or two before you actually need to buy a big-ticket item. It works perfectly as a budgeting tool as long as you know the rules and plan for the random security hold.

Fantastic for gaming and productivity, but missing USB-C rechargeability
Color: Classic Black, Color: Classic Black
I recently purchased the Razer Orochi V2, and overall, it is an amazing mouse. The build quality is absolutely fantastic, and it feels premium. It fits perfectly in my palm, and the materials and clicks have a very pleasant tactile feel. I use it daily for both gaming and work, and it performs flawlessly in both scenarios. Compared to my Razer Pro Click, the Orochi V2 actually fits my hand much better. In fact, I now only use the Pro Click as a backup for when the Orochi's battery suddenly dies!
There is really only one downside for me: it runs on disposable batteries rather than having a built-in rechargeable one. On the plus side, it only needs a single battery to operate, and I love the clever design that allows you to use either a standard AA or a smaller AAA battery depending on your weight preference.
However, I would really love to see a future version of this exact mouse with a built-in battery and a standard USB Type-C charging port. If you don't mind swapping batteries occasionally, this is a near-perfect mouse. Highly recommended!
