This is a set including both the M1911 Complete Owner's Guide and Complete Assembly Guide

The M1911 Complete Owner's Guide's purpose is to give the new M1911 owner a in-depth understanding of his or her pistol, while providing the experienced owner knowledge that they don't yet have, and with the intent of giving even the expert new insights into the M1911.

The Guide provides extensive detail on the history, selection, operation, disassembly, assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, magazines, upgrades, shooting and more for the M1911. You will gain an understanding of the principles involved in selecting holsters and ammunition. You will also find an overview of the basics involved in shooting the M1911. As bonuses, the Guide includes a comprehensive Colt Model Number list and a compilation of trainers and shooting academies that we feel are worth your time and money.

In short, you'll know your M1911 inside and out.

As bonuses, the Guide includes a comprehensive Colt Model Number list and a compilation of trainers and shooting academies that we feel are worth your time and money.

Lavishly illustrated, The M1911 Complete Assembly Guide is far more than a traditional "how-to" book. Based on the experiences of a diversified build team, the TIPS, TRICKS, and PITFALLS characteristic of Walt Kuleck's previous Complete Assembly Guides are more wide-ranging and encompassing than ever. Coached by pistolsmith Drake Oldham, the author and two "advanced amateurs" show how to assemble and upgrade the M1911.

The alert reader will note that the author and two brothers add up to three, not four, builders. The team was rounded out by a friend of the author: police officer, trainer, and up-and-coming pistolsmith Drake Oldham. The author met Drake at Larry Vickers' pistolsmith course; from that serendipity, a collegial relationship began to develop. Drake is what one might call a "practical perfectionist." He understands the difference between perfection for performance, and perfection for its own sake. Drake recognizes that the "advanced novice" for whom this book is written needs to know why he or she is performing a process or executing a procedure, not merely how to do it.

As a bonus, the Guide includes the report on a series of Drop Tests performed by Drake's Gun Works and the book team. The result of these tests shocked us; the new data from these tests is sure to rekindle the ongoing convtroversy about firing pin safeties.

The Assembly Guide goes far beyond the military manuals in both scope and depth. It's a "must have" for every M1911 owner!

It is cool, tough and hard. Just wish it was larger bc my dog is 80 pounds. It won’t fall apart in a day and made in the USA!

good purchase
Color: Red Nylon Yellow Hotdog
This thing is great for hi anxiety dogs and dogs that ned to have something to do or to chew. It will take them a while to get through to it. I was told that it was indestructible but I knew if there was a dog that could do it, it would be mine, and she did. But it took her some time. But she loves it and it keeps her busy.

Cute and durable!
Color: Red, Color: Red
My dog absolutely loves this toy! I'm not sure why people are complaining it's too hard, it's a nylon dog chew toy, it's supposed to be hard. I love the little holes in the lattice top I can stuff with treats. It keeps my very (VERY) active dog busy for a long time. I would definitely recommend this if you have a power chewer. It's also super cute, I just love to see him tote around a piece of pie.
