Human Touch is a one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture of a humpback whale, carefully hand-built and glazed by the artist. Human handprints, intentionally imprinted across the whale’s body, symbolize the complex relationship between humans and marine life — a bond that can be both caring and destructive.

This piece invites reflection on what kind of trace we leave behind: is it tenderness or harm, memory or scar?

The sculpture was selected among the Top 100 artworks of the Social Art Award 2025 — an international competition focused on Planetary Healing – Blue Tribes for Ocean Health, organized by the Institute for Art and Innovation (Berlin).

It will be published in the official Social Art Award 2025 Book and presented in the project’s online gallery.
