Each item is handmade; hand poured, sanded, and sealed. Even though techniques are used to have a smooth finish, air bubbles and discoloration can naturally occur. Concrete is a porous material and there may be small imperfections, pin size holes due to air bubbles or color changes in the pigment etc. , that occur when the items set. I do my best in the creating process to minimize these imperfections but each time an item is made, the outcome is unpredictable due to many different factors. I look at this as the beauty of a handmade item. The small imperfections that make the item unique and not just another bulk, factory made item.
