Co-produced by Kempner and Gabe Wax (Beirut, Soccer Mommy), Black Friday was recorded at Panoramic House in Stinson Beach, California throughout late 2018. The trio tracked most of the songs live, which introduced a new vitality into the band's elegantly detailed sound"
