With innovative new rod technology, premium components, and eye-catching looks, the St. Croix 2023 Avid Series Inshore Spinning Rods offer a wide range of lengths, powers, and actions to dominate the nearshore fisheries coast to coast. At the base of this rod, St. Croix utilized an improved SCIII+ Carbon blank material, a material developed in the combination of high-modulus, high strain SCIII carbon and super-high modulus SCVI exotic carbon. Proprietary percentages, locations, and combinations of both materials were rolled into the mandrels to create this new SCIII+ blank, ultimately creating a lighter, more sensitive rod with improved balance and durability. New agglomerated cork grips not only look good but offer a denser, easier to maintain form than the standard cork, all without adding any appreciable weight. The normal bumps, scrapes, and dings from going in and out of rod holders and other wear and tear are mitigated, keeping the rod both looking good but also comfortable in hand. Stainless steel guide frames with alconite rings offer great durability even with the harsh saltwater environments these rods are built for, along with strong casting performance. Whether you are fishing from shore, kayak, paddle board, or boat, the Avid Series Inshore lineup of rods offer great performance for anglers targeting striped bass, albies, redfish, seatrout, snook and more.
