A complex, concentrated example of Pouilly Fumé with well balanced, crisp gooseberry and blackcurrant leaf fruit overlaid with hints of citrus and mineral. The finish is elegant and long with hints of flint and ripe apple.
The system of minimum intervention is practised on this family owned 17-hectare Estate. The vines are on average 25 years old and are trained guyot simple. Each year in the spring, there is green harvest and debugging to improve quality.
A great all-round wine with fish, such as hake, cod, squid or turbot.
