Without the addition of essential nutrients, aquarium plants will gradually yellow, drop their leaves, and eventually die. Plants take up nutrients by their roots and leaves. API LEAF ZONE plant fertilizer contains an excellent source of the necessary plant nutrients and is rapidly absorbed through plant leaves to promote lush growth and vibrant color. API ROOT TABS plant fertilizer are rich in iron to develop strong roots, rapid growth, and best coloration. Slowly releasing simple carbon compounds, API CO2 BOOSTER product aids in fueling the photosynthetic process by turning light energy into new plant growth.

Vibrant aquatic plants vs. unsightly algae

Healthy growing plants can outcompete algae. In fact, aquatic plants help reduce algae growth, as they compete for the same nutrients. Here are some guidelines to set up the right environment:

 

  • For thriving aquatic plants, use a lighting system type and wattage that suit them best.
  • To prevent unsightly algae growth, aquarium light should be on a maximum of 8-10 hours per day.
  • It is recommended to test the water with both API NITRATE & API PHOSPHATE TEST KITS because excess nitrate and phosphate can contribute to unsightly algae growth, and zero levels of nitrate and phosphate will hinder plant growth, so you’ll want to make sure levels are optimal.
  • To get rid of algae, use API ALGAEFIX algae control at first sight.

 


API plant products are formulated to be used in aquariums containing freshwater fish.

If overdosed, perform a water exchange to remove excess material.

It is a nice shirt, good quality, and if someone wanted it for an event/cruise or just for a night to dress up, especially for a Caribbean/Spanish or Latin dance theme, this shirt is a perfect look to me. Buy it, you will not be disappointed. He has not worn it yet, not washed it, but I would not put in it with other colors, may fade a little like reds do, and definitely, only dry on low/delicate. May need a pressing/steaming, but overall, it was not horribly wrinkled when we received it. A toss in the dryer may just do the trick. Was delivered on time as it said it would.
