  • The next model in our iconic series of race weathered models at 1:8 scale is the Ferrari 330 P4, as raced by Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes in the 1967 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This meticulously patinated model of chassis #0858 is limited to just 21 pieces, with each model hand-painted and detailed by our artisans in Bristol replicating precisely the race dirt that adorned the car at the end of the gruelling race. The artistry applied to these 21 models exemplifies our commitment to creating beautiful hand-made pieces which fully capture both the spirit and precise appearance of iconic race cars.

The model was developed using data from a digital scan of the only perfect example of the 330 P4 left in existence, that has not suffered crash damage or major modification. The prototype model has been scrutinised by Ferrari Classiche to ensure complete accuracy. The weathering details are precisely applied by our artisans using archival imagery to ensure the completed model is a perfect replica of the real car as it finished the race in 1967. Each model is accompanied by an archive quality Giclée print of the car as it crossed the line, selected by Amalgam from the Motorsport Images collection.

One of the most revered Ferrari race cars of all time, the 330 P4 was one of the last Ferrari prototypes that still resembled a sports car, hitting the world stage during one of its most exciting eras. Improving upon its already successful 330 P3 predecessor, the 330 P4 gave Enzo Ferrari one of his proudest moments with a crushing 1-2-3 victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967. Whilst the GT40 brought brute power and strength to the world’s race circuits, Ferrari stuck to their formula of smaller engine prototypes, trusting that this package of technical sophistication and sublime handling would outclass the American manufacturer’s torque in the end.

Pitted against the corporate might of Ford’s GT40 programme, which had beaten them at Le Mans in 1966, Ferrari’s engineers had a daunting task: defeating the Americans whilst balancing and their commitments in the World Sportscar Championship, Formula 1, Formula 2 and their road car business. Added to these burdens were labour unrest and parts shortages. To encourage a return to winning ways, Enzo Ferrari gave Technical Director Mauro Forghieri largely free reign in development.

Building on the knowledge gained from racing the 330 P3, the P4 was equipped with a new four litre V12 engine, radically redesigned by Franco Rocchi, featuring the introduction of a three-valve cylinder head modelled after those of the Scuderia’s Formula 1 cars. Fuel feed was still provided by a Lucas injection system, resulting in 450hp, an additional 30hp over the P3. The P4 had a shorter chassis but retained its predecessor’s shape, and a new suspension system improved roadholding. A new 5-speed gearbox was created to replace the unreliable Tipo 593 ZF transmission, whilst the car also sported cast magnesium Campagnolo wheels and wider Firestone tires to replace the Dunlops.

The 330 P4 chassis scored multiple victories but the undoubted highlight was the 1-2-3 finish at Daytona in February 1967. Two P4s, and one 412 P, crossed the finish line together for a photo finish to respond to Ford's own victory at Le Mans the previous year. It is reputed that until Enzo Ferrari’s death, he kept a photograph of the winning trio on their final lap to victory, so much did this result mean to him.

This fine 1:8 scale model is based on chassis #0858 as raced to second position by Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at Circuit de la Sarthe on the 11th of June 1967. Qualifying in seventh position, Ferrari were initially cautious, driving within their capability to last the distance. After the first round of pit stops, the Ford GT40 Mk IV driven by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt took the lead for the first time, maintaining a pace in the race which the Italians considered would be a fatal mistake. They were very nearly proved right, as a chain collision at the Tertre Rouge took out three of their rival Fords overnight, propelling the #21 Ferrari into second place. Unfortunately for the duo, the Ford lead was already five laps and, when finally given the signal to push, it was too late. Ford took the victory, but Ferrari salvaged pride with Scarfiotti and Parkes in second and the privateer 330 P4 entry of Willy Mairesse and Jean Blaton in third. Even half a century later, this edition of Le Mans is still celebrated by motorsports historians and fans alike.

This model has been handcrafted and finished in our workshops with the co-operation and assistance of Ferrari regarding original finishes, materials, archive imagery and drawings. The use of supremely accurate digital scanning of the original car has allowed us to perfectly recreate every detail at scale. Furthermore, it has undergone detailed scrutiny by both engineering and design teams to ensure complete accuracy of representation.

The Race Weathered Ferrari 330 P4 is limited to just 21 pieces at 1:8 scale.

    Absolutely Perfect?!!
Size: 15 Combo Travel Size, Size: 15 Combo Travel Size
AMAZING!! This made packing soooo easy and such a breeze!! My suitcase was organized & I had everything that I needed for my trip. It has a great suction & comes with several red strips (I’ll call them) to ensure a tight seal before suctioning the air out. The bags comes on several different sizes & hold quite a bit of items in the big bag which held out hoodies & sweatsuits. Vacuum it’s not loud at all. Lightweight but packs power. This is a game changer! Very durable & great quality!! I’d highly recommend this item.

Over packer approved! GOODBYE checked bag fees!!
    Size: 9 Combo Travel Size
These were incredible for our recent flight to Tampa. I’m an overpacker by nature, and we normally have to check at least one bag, but these completely changed that. We were able to fit everything into our carry-ons and backpacks with room to spare, which even saved us from paying a checked bag fee. The vacuum came already charged, and I still haven’t needed to recharge it, which was a nice bonus. It also comes with a small travel bag to keep the charging cord together, which made it easy to stay organized. The suction is strong and works quickly. I packed one bag completely full and it compressed it down to about half the size. The bags are durable and easy to seal, even without using the plastic zipper clips. As long as they’re fully sealed, they stay compressed and don’t slowly let air back in. We unpacked everything at the hotel and stored the empty bags in our suitcases, then reused them to pack for the trip home with no issues. The vacuum isn’t silent, but it’s not overly loud either. I’d compare it to being quieter than a typical hair dryer. This is such a game changer for travel and saving space. I’ll definitely be using these for every trip.

Extremely well made travel vacuum bags
    Size: 9 Combo Travel Size
These are great kits for Travel and storage. I now have two sets. The pump works very well. Small enough for carry on. One very small dislike, There are small clips that slide across the top closer. But nothing to stop them either end. So may fall off. But I would highly recommend them. 9 out of 10 for me.

Good Space Savings, but the Bag Zippers don't hold very well
    Size: 15 Combo Travel Size
I purchased these Vacbird travel vacuum bags mainly to save space in carry-on luggage and cruise packing, and the overall concept works well. The included rechargeable air pump is compact and convenient for travel, and the compression bags can significantly reduce the amount of space taken up by clothing and soft items when sealed properly. The bags themselves are easy to fill and compress, and they can definitely help organize luggage more efficiently for longer trips. For bulky clothing like jackets, sweatshirts, or extra layers, the space savings are noticeable. The rechargeable pump is also more convenient than manually rolling air out of the bags repeatedly. The reason this isn’t a higher rating is the zipper closure quality. The zippers feel much weaker than they should for a product designed around repeated compression and travel handling. Several closures required extra care to avoid separating or leaking air, which reduces confidence in long-term durability. The system works, but the zipper design feels like the weak point and keeps the product from feeling as reliable as it otherwise could be.

    Small fan, serious power
    Color: Black
I bought the Honeywell Turboforce Fan for my bedroom, and I’m honestly impressed with how powerful this little thing is. Don’t let the compact size fool you — it moves a lot of air. On the lowest setting it’s perfect for a gentle breeze while sleeping, and the higher settings can easily cool down a medium-sized room or help circulate AC much more efficiently. The 90-degree pivoting head is a great feature. I can angle it upward for better air circulation or point it directly at me when it’s extra hot. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and doesn’t take up much space on a desk or nightstand. It can also be wall-mounted, which is a nice bonus. Noise level is reasonable. On low, it’s actually a pleasant white noise. Medium and high are louder, but not in an annoying way — just the sound of strong airflow. Build quality feels solid for the price, and it’s been running daily without any issues. For the cost, this fan seriously overperforms. If you need a compact, affordable, and powerful fan, this is a no-brainer. I’d absolutely buy it again.
