While the bristles are soft, they are strong enough to provide the necessary pressure against the teeth. My cat has a relatively small head and mouth, yet she resisted this brush the least of all. I will not be going back to my previous toothbrushes. Very highly recommended!

Fits nicely in my hand and the brush head isn't too big for my cats tiny faces & teeth. I'd recommend it so far and I'm going to keep on with this brush instead of trying a new product every time.
