I loved designing this crow place mat here by hand in my small UK based studio — crows are one of my most enduring and beloved subjects, intelligent and mysterious birds that appear all across my work at Teeth and Claws. My place mats are all made here in the UK, in small sustainable quantities, made from thick eucalyptus hardboard and cork backed (for no slippage!) with a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — practical as well as beautiful!
