Formed in 1985 after the first split of their band Bauhaus, Love and Rockets provided a clean slate and an opportunity to plumb the depths of imagination and influences. Everything changed for Love and Rockets in 1989 when they released their self-titled fourth album. The song "So Alive" reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the album attained gold status. The song reached No. 1 in Canada and charted within the top 30 in Australia, and New Zealand. In the US, it was #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart for five weeks and was ranked No. 1 on that listing's year-end chart for 1989. Billboard wrote that "So Alive" was "the best T. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not purchase if you intend to use the Access Code. I was very careful to scratch off the Access code, but you can see it was still unreadable. I went to the website and submitted a ticket. One option for a reason to submit a ticket is 'unreadable access code", so they know this is a problem. They ask for a photo of the code and a receipt of purchase. I sent both. Then they asked for proof that the book was purchased NEW. This was not noted on the Amazon invoice. I was instructed to reach out to the vendor for the additional info. Or I could spend more money on another access code. There are other study options available.
