The Synergy 8580-04 Long Arm Upgrade Kit from GAP is designed to improve your 2003-2013 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 suspension geometry while off-roading. Shorter control arm angles are hard on a vehicle's suspension components which leads to poor vehicle handling, limited suspension travel, and an overall bumpy ride as the shocks produce a choppy movement as you drive. By using the Synergy long arm kit a better angle is achieved, which offers more range of motion and doesn't put undue stress on the truck's suspension components.

Notes:
To prevent front tires from rubbing the control arms at full steering lock, we recommend the following wheel/tire combinations:
Most* 37-inch tires - wheels must have no more than 4.5 inches of backspacing
Most* 40-inch tires - wheels must have no more than 3.75 inches of backspacing
* Same size tires will dimensionally vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Due to the additional weight of megacab truck configurations, Synergy recommends all gas megacab trucks use Heavy Duty (HD) front coil springs instead of Light Duty (LD) front coil springs. LD front coil springs will give less lift than advertised.
Upgrading to long arms requires removal of the stock control arm brackets at the frame.
