Our 'Hermann' thick, full-cushioned knee high socks from the Heritage Collection socks extend right up to just below the knee. Made from warm, soft, yet hardwearing merino they're ideal for motorcycling, pairing with gumboots, or just hanging around at home in the middle of winter.

Please note, as they are a thick sock, they may not be suitable for tight-fitting boots like ski boots.

The terry knit creates a warm springy cushion inside the sock, making 'Hermann' socks exceptionally warm for the most challenging weather.

What are your ‘Hermann’ socks made from?
Our 'Hermann' socks are made from 75% Australian-grown merino wool (which helps with temperature regulation and moisture wicking), and 25% nylon for strength and durability.

Are these socks itchy?
Not at all! Merino wool is incredibly soft, making the socks perfect for all-day comfort.

Can I wear these socks year-round?
Yes! Merino naturally regulates temperature, keeping your feet warm in winter and cool in summer.

How do I wash merino socks?
Sizing will be correct after the first wash. We recommend a quick, cold machine wash. They should be washed separately, or in a hosiery and lingerie wash bag so they do not catch on other garments.
