The Regal Revolution Series is one of the most versatile and elegant tying vises ever produced. This configuration pairs the Traditional Head with the Bronze Pocket Base, giving you the classic Regal hook-holding power, true in-line rotary function, and a low-profile base that fits cleanly into the corner of any tying desk.
The Revolution platform is built around what Regal does better than anyone else: the spring-loaded jaw that grabs a hook the moment it touches the slot. There is no tightening, no fiddling with hook collets, no swapping inserts for different sizes. You set the hook, you tie the fly, you flip it out. The vise spins 360 degrees on a true in-line rotary axis so materials wrap evenly around the hook shank, and the head articulates 220 degrees up and down so you can position the hook at any angle that fits how you tie.
The Traditional Head (also called the Regular Head) is Regal's flagship jaw. It holds hooks from size 22 up through 1/0, which covers nearly every trout and bass pattern you would ever tie at the bench.
