The SMSL DP5 Network DAP is equipped with a hi-res ES9038Pro DAC chip. It is a very capable DAC chip with high SNR, Dynamic Range, and ultra-low distortion. It decodes the audio signal with high precision and quality ensuring the users get rich, high-resolution sound output.
Full MQA Unfolding:-
The SMSL DP5 supports full MQA unfolding. The device works on two principles, cleaning up the sound, and encapsulation the sound. MQA files are expanded fully during the decoding. This ensures the users get a rich sound output with crisp clarity and detailing.
Multiple Input/Output Options:-
Users can provide the audio signal input to the SMSL DP5 using various different options. They can use wireless Wi-fi, USB PC input, USB external hard drive, IIS, Ethernet cable, Coaxial, or even Micro SD card. So basically The SMSL DP5 covers all latest and old input methods. The device can provide the output signal via headphone output port, or line out via unbalanced RCA and Balanced XLR output. It also supports the latest DLNA & Airplay technologies.
