Made in the USA, the Anchor Audio MEGA2-AIR is a MegaVox 2 AIR wireless companion speaker designed to extend the coverage area of your MegaVox 2 PA system. Able to handle 20W of power and produce 119 dB SPL through a high-efficiency, re-entrant horn driver, it delivers powerful voice amplification for crowds of up to 1000 people in sports venues, public gatherings, and various outdoor events. It features two modes, AIR for active operation with a wireless source, and Wired for passive operation with a wired source.
A built-in AIR wireless receiver allows a cord-free signal connection from your MegaVox 2 portable PA and offers adjustable volume for the wireless signal it receives. The 1/4" TS speaker input allows a direct connection from the 1/4" speaker output of your MegaVox 2 PA. The MEGA2-AIR requires no power source in Wired mode, but can be powered via a 19 VDC power supply or the built-in rechargeable battery in AIR mode. The lithium-ion battery provides approximately six to eight hours of operating time on a single charge. A 4-stage LED meter indicates battery and charging status.
Gig-to-gig transport is made easy with the built-in carry handle, which also simplifies the process of hoisting the MEGA2-AIR onto a speaker stand. The integrated pole mount ensures secure placement atop your speaker pole.

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet.
My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan.
I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS.
Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.

You have to print return label!
